We are grateful to our loyal team members and the millions of guests who have come through the doors. What started as a humble bingo hall later became San Manuel Casino, now one of Southern California’s destinations for gaming and entertainment. The Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel knew it was the beginning of something special when the San Manuel Bingo hall was built 35 years ago. While we are introducing a new brand and experience, the Tribal entity known as San Manuel Entertainment Authority will continue to own and operate Yaamava’ and the management team that has led San Manuel Casino with success remains in place. The Tribe is excited to introduce Yaamava’ to our San Manuel guests. Yaamava’ encapsulates our mission and vision as we prepare for the debut of our luxury resort, including the hotel and spa coming in December. In the Serrano language, the word “yaamava’” means the spring season. The new name (pronounced YAH-ma-vah) not only reflects the significant expansion of our gaming operations into a resort destination, but this word from our ancestral heritage also points to who we are today.
The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians recently announced the name change of its casino to the Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel.
