Jon also received a warm reception from the crowd. She somehow manages to roll her “r’s” without moving her lips! Some of you may remember that my initial reaction to her performance first time around was lukewarm, but she truly brought her all to the finals. Performing with her “good luck charm” puppet Petunia, the ventriloquist manipulated her fuzzy friend to perform a beautiful opera number.
Darci Lynne took the initial elimination to heart and really stepped up her game for the finals. The two wildcards the judges (or, more likely, the producers) brought back were former winner Darci Lynne and NFL legend Jon Derenbos.
